| from the album "Tango Bitter Sweet" (FM 123-2) by Quadro Nuevo „No road is long with a friend by your side.“ The four musicians of Quadro Nuevo play this vagabonds melody for their van Ferdinand, which seesaws the band and their instruments staunchly all over the continent. In the sheet music on hand the original recording of Swing Vagabond of the CD Quadro Nuevo – tango bitter sweet is written down in notes including the improvisational soli. You don´t necessarily have to play each note as written. You can jam over the harmonies. The actual main theme of the piece is in the first 42 measures. On the CD the main voice is played by a soprano saxophone. But it can also be played by any other melody instrument. Therefore this edition contains the notes of the main voice in three different transpositions: in B-flat (for clarinet, trumpet, soprano or tenor saxophone), in C (for flute or violin) and an E-flat-voice for alto or baritone saxophone. The accordion voice can be played by piano if required. (In this case the octave specifications may be ignored). The accompanying chords of the guitar written in the composition are mostly not explicitly set as guitar chords. These tones are eclectic. The guitarist is recommended to find his own suitable and familiar way of choosing the chords. Enclosed you find a chord table for your support. Have fun! |
