Monsieur Gosselin keeps a little hotel and loves the tango. In addition he is fond of vagabonds. Here is a tango for him! In the sheet music on hand you will find the musical notation of the original recording of Tango Gosselin of the CD Quadro Nuevo - Mocca Flor including the improvisational soli. You don´t necessarily have to play each note as written. Feel free to jam over the harmonies. In addition to the originally played clarinet voice (in B-flat) this edition contains another B-flat-voice with octaves mainly shifted (for trumpet, soprano or tenor saxophone), a C-voice (for flute or violin), and an E-flat-voice (for alto or baritone saxophone). The arrangement works perfectly with different instrumentations if the musicians adapt the voices conveniently. The accordion voice can be played by piano, for example. In this case the pianist would do well to play the bass of the harmonies with the left hand. The accordion melody might as well be taken by a melody instrument (lik flute, trombone or trumpet). In the turn the guitar voice could also be played by a keyboard instrument (like piano). Have a good time! |
